Little Potato outreach

Students gathered around a robot to explore its mechanisms and ask questions. Sharing a build up close makes robotics a hands-on conversation.
03 / Community outreach
Outreach brings robotics beyond the competition field. We share hands-on activities, demonstrate team projects, and create opportunities for people to explore engineering with us.
Community connections / 2026
Library activities, community gatherings, and festival booths give us different ways to share what we build.

Visitors explored hands-on activities and robotics demonstrations with the team. A library setting gives families a welcoming place to ask questions and discover something new.

Our festival booth brought together team displays and 3D-printed projects. Visitors could meet Paragon members and see examples of the ideas we bring to life.
A foundation of sharing / 2025–26
Our 2025–26 outreach display documents camps, community workshops, and support for younger robotics teams. These programs form part of Paragon's outreach history.
The display highlights Scratch and Python programming, Raspberry Pi activities, and digital-art learning as ways to introduce students to creative computing.
3D design, TinkerCAD, Onshape, and soldering workshops connect digital ideas with practical making and hands-on engineering.
Camps and FIRST LEGO League mentoring offer younger students a path into robotics, with opportunities to practice skills and learn alongside others.
